Foxes

Welcome to Foxes

Welcome to the Foxes Class Page!

Firstly, happy new year to you all and we hope you had a superb festive season.

Our PE days will be on a Tuesday and a Friday this term. On a Friday, now the weather is very cold please ensure your children have wellies, extra socks, water proofs, hats, scarves and gloves for forest school.

Your continued support with TTRockstars is much appreciated – a solid understanding of multiplication will benefit our maths this term as we begin to learn about fractions.

In writing we are using the book Turtle Moon as inspiration for our writing this term. This is by the fantastic author, Hannah Gold who also wrote The Last Bear. If your child would like to read this alongside or even ahead of our learning then that would be brilliant. Again, please continue to support your child with regular reading at home so they can feel confident with the expectations of school across the entire curriculum.

As a Church of England School, RE plays an important role in embedding our school values and vision, but it is also important to learn about other beliefs and as such we are investigating the values of Humanism.

If you have any questions or concerns then please feel free to email me at hhorsford@charing.kent.sch.uk.

Very best wishes,
Mrs Horsford and Mrs Beard
